The Mordecai Project is a not-for-profit (pending) Christian ministry founded by J. Lee Grady, a journalist, author and ordained minister. The purpose of this ministry is (1) to train and equip Christians, (2) to encourage, strengthen and disciple ministers, and (3) to expand Christian missionary work around the globe. This is accomplished through books, preaching, leadership conferences, ministerial retreats and television programs in various languages.

Lee has a special focus on helping churches around the world to empower women so they can fulfill their spiritual callings in the church and society. He calls for the full participation of trained women in church leadership, and he challenges the global church to reject unbiblical religious traditions that encourage oppression, gender discrimination and abuse.

Our mission statement is summarized in this way:

“EMPOWERING WOMEN * CONFRONTING ABUSE *
TRANSFORMING NATIONS”
